Hello!

This interactive D&D spelldeck began as an exercise in loading information from an external API. Originally, the site produced a list of Pokémon that could be clicked for a short list of their attributes - a stone's throw from what you see now! After getting my feet wet with the PokéAPI, I challenged myself to think of something that might prove useful to me or someone else. Thus, a searchable D&D spelldeck!

All information on the spell cards is loaded directly from the D&D 5e API. An even more functional and practical version of the site is in the works, including separate pages for spell decks by class, and a search function that returns all spells with a given attribute (necromancy school, acid damage, etc). For now, the home page displays all spells in alphabetical order, and the list is searchable by spell name.
